Refund & cancellation policy

Docet plans are billed in USD: Starter is $79/month or $790/year; Growth is $199/month or $1990/year; and Scale is $399/month or $3990/year.

Every new organization starts on a 14-day Starter trial with no card required. No charge occurs until a plan is chosen at Stripe Checkout.

Docet subscriptions renew automatically each month or year at the then-current price and continue until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Plan; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Monthly plans renew for the monthly amount and annual plans renew for the annual amount.

The organization owner can go to Settings → Plan and select Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The organization keeps full access until then; afterward, the account becomes read-only rather than being deleted.

Docet does not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or periods already billed. Cancelling stops future renewals only.

When a subscription is past_due, access continues for a 14-day grace period. After that period, the account becomes read-only: existing records remain visible, but new records cannot be created.

Invoices a tutoring organization issues to families run through that organization's own Stripe Connect account. Refunds for those family invoices are the tutoring organization's decision, not Docet's.
